Byes: Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans

The Actual Rankings are based my scoring primer. It basically follows ESPNs standard scoring but uses fractional points and slightly devalues passing touchdowns.

The underrated Miami Dolphins Defense finished as the number one ranked fantasy defense. I had them ranked the highest at 6. I would have ranked them higher but Mark Sanchez had played quite well in the three previous games so I didn’t expect a monster day. For the last four weeks they’re averaging 12.25 points per game. Couple that with games against the Colts, Titans, Bills and Seahawks the next four weeks this make them a sneaky defense pickup.

The Seattle Seahawks had an extremely disappointing week against the Lions. The Seahawks game plan was simple, take away Calvin Johnson and make the other wide receivers beat them. What was most concerning was the Lions converted on 75% of 3rd downs (12 out of 16). I’m not ready to jump off the bandwagon. They’re still a top 5 defense.
