Houston @ Detroit: Calvin Johnson is officially back; Ryan Broyles could be a great pickup this week as he could be a solid #3 wide receiver; it’s going to be hard to trust any Lions running back; Brandon Pettigrew is a legit top 10 fantasy tight end, but in terms of a real life tight end, Tony Scheffler is the better player
Washington @ Dallas: RG3 appears to have gotten out of his slump; you can’t trust any Redskins wide receiver because the ball is equally distributed; Pierre Garcon looks relatively good, but he still looks hampered by his foot; Cole Beasley can be the Wes Welker in the Cowboys offense and is a must add in a PPR leagues
New England @ New York Jets: Mark Sanchez stinks; you can’t trust any offensive player on the Jets; Brandon Llyod should be dropped in all leagues; Tim Tebow was active even though he had broken ribs….makes no sense
San Francisco @ New Orleans: Colin Kapernick did not look this time around; he asked to do less and allow the running game to dictate the game (as I predicted); he should be the 49ers starter moving forward; Darren Sproles had a good stat line but his longest catch (35 yards) came at the last play at the game; Sproles owners must be concerned about his usage moving forward; Chris Ivory is the best running back on the Saints
Pittsburgh @ Cleveland: The running back situation in Pittsburgh is a big mess; think how good Trent Richardson would be if he was on a decent team like the Packers?; Mike Wallace is not startable if Ben Roethlisberger isn’t playing
Buffalo @ Indianapolis: I can’t believe the Bills only scored 13 points against one the worst defenses in the league; CJ spiller only touched the ball 15 times; Reggine Wayne is the only Colts wide receiver you can safely start; Vic Ballard is in the middle of a time share with Donald Brown
Minnesota @ Chicago: Jay Cutler played well, but after seeing his continued actions on and off the field he’s a douche; check out his taunting penalty yesterday; Bears suffered significant injuries to Matt Forte, Devin Hester, Charles Tillman, and starting guards Lance Louis and Chris Spencer
Oakland @ Cincinnati: Denarius Moore is #3 wide receiver moving forward; when Darren McFadden is fully healthy he doesn’t deserve his job back; Marcel Reece has earned the starting job and the lion share of snaps; Andy Dalton put up a great box score again, but that is more of a function of the opponents rather than his skill; AJ Green and Jermaine Gresham are the only reliable fantasy wide receivers on the Bengals
Denver @ Kansas City: The most surprising thing that happened yesterday was Knowshon Moreno A) looked good and B) he got the lion share of snaps; I’m not buying him as a long term fantasy solution; Jamaal Charles looks like he’ll be a safe fantasy option the rest of the year because it appears he will get consistent touches
Seattle @ Miami: Ryan Tannehill looked really good against a top 5 defense; Davone Bess may be one of the best slot receivers in the game; I’ve officially jumped off the Brian Hartline bandwagon; Sidney Rice is the most trustworthy fantasy receiving option for Seattle
